Introduction

I have had a deep interest in motorcars and motoring since boyhood and that’s some time ago. It’s not an obsessive involvement and just any cars or type of motoring doesn’t whet my appetite. They have to be interesting cars; perhaps challenging to drive or even rare, and motoring them over roads that brings out the character of them adds another dimension.

I’ve also had a lot of enjoyment from describing my associations and exploits from time to time in the odd magazine! Perhaps the time has come to share these things with a wider audience, which is possibly quite easy by something like the internet.

By means of this "column" I can let you join me in the drivers seat of some of the cars that I manage to get behind the steering wheel of and you will be able to come with us on some of the trips.

Hopefully time will permit this "column" to be updated on something like a monthly / bi-monthly basis. As my priorities are keeping the cars roadworthy and motoring them, the best of intentions could fall by the wayside, so be patient and keep checking this website if you’re so far interested.
